Peace Corps To Allow Same-Sex Couples To Serve Together
On Tuesday, Peace Corps announced that it would be accepting applications from same-sex domestic partners who want to volunteer together overseas.
7 percent of Peace Corps assignments are filled by married volunteers; heterosexual married couples have been serving together since it was founded in 1961.
