Quebec Launches $7.1 Million Anti-Homophobia Campaign




The Quebec government has launced a five-year diversity campaign aimed at ending homophobia at a cost of over $7 million.

A recent survey of Quebecers was commissioned by the provincial government and found that 90 percent were open to sexual diversity, while 78 percent were comfortable with gay and lesbian individuals.

When asked about transgender people, the number dropped to 45 percent.
